The CILO Tanay LC is your all-mountain buddy if you love lightness and like to ride your line actively. A light-assist eMTB that feels like a living training partner: agile, intuitive and bursting with energy. It plays with you through technical trails, stays precise in rocky sections and rewards you on the climbs with that special moment when motor power and muscle power blend into one perfect rhythm. Its lightweight setup, efficient assistance and playful handling turn quick direction changes, tight turns and root patches into pure, unfiltered flow. The Tanay LC combines traction, control and lightness into a riding experience that elevates every tour – sporty, free and incredibly alive. An all-mountain that doesn’t make the mountains smaller, but gives you the freedom to truly enjoy them.
FEATURES
IDEAL BALANCE
The carbon frame offers lightness, stability, and comfort. Thanks to its high stiffness and reduced weight, it guarantees exceptional performance both uphill and downhill. The material absorbs vibrations, enhances riding comfort, and improves control on uneven terrain.
MODERN FRAME DESIGN
The frame design combines agility, stability, efficiency, comfort, and safety. Short rear stays, long reach, low center of gravity, short stem, and a very low standover height maximize control and fun on any trail.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
The internal cable routing, from the head tube to the rear stays, ensures a clean aesthetic and effectively protects the cables from corrosion, dirt, bending, and external factors.
BALANCED SUSPENSION
Perfect balance between uphill and downhill performance: 100% Anti-Squat ensures efficient pedaling, while 50% Anti-Rise allows for active braking within the suspension travel, providing stable riding comfort and maximum control at high speeds. The specific suspension adjustments enable the bike's full performance potential on any type of terrain.
FLIP CHIP
Thanks to the Flip Chip system in the shock linkage, it is possible to modify the seat tube angle, head tube angle, and bottom bracket height, allowing the bike to be optimized for a more agile and responsive ride or for more stable and secure descents at high speeds.
DUAL MODE
The Dual Mode concept allows you to choose between high autonomy and powerful assistance. In autonomy mode, support is reduced, while in power mode, the maximum performance of the Shimano motor with 85 Nm is activated. Both modes can be customized and saved through the Shimano app.
RANGE EXTENDER READY
For greater flexibility, comfort, and range, the 400 Wh battery can be extended by up to 50% with optional range extenders in bottle format. The extender can be easily attached using the Fidlock mounting plate.
